About

I’m a Somerset based portrait and documentary photographer based in partnership with Agora Photography.

After serving 20 years in the Royal Navy as a medic, my career took an unexpected turn due to ill health. That shift gave me the space to reconnect with a lifelong passion: photography. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a purpose-driven practice focused on people, their stories, and the beauty in everyday resilience.

My work spans from intimate portraiture to documentary projects, often exploring themes of identity, community, and belonging. I have a particular interest in sports portraiture, capturing the competition and quiet intensity of athletes in motion and at rest.

I’m deeply passionate about analogue photography and darkroom printing, processes that bring me closer to the craft and allow a more tactile, deliberate connection to each image I create.

I’m committed to amplifying voices from marginalised groups, using photography as a means of storytelling, advocacy, and visibility.

Whether I’m shooting on location, in the studio, or out in the field, I approach every subject with empathy, curiosity, and respect.
